Community Assistance Program
NRG believes positive community relationships are built on providing financial and in-kind support through sponsorships and donations to those that need it the most.We are pleased to grant local Gladstone, Calliope, Boyne Island, Tannum Sands, Miriam Vale and Port Curtis groups the funding and support they need to continue their valuable role in our community. Our community assistance program supports and enhances the quality of life by focusing on the needs of disadvantaged groups, youth support programs, education, public safety and environmental programs.
Through community participation, NRG prefers to support initiatives that promote long term solutions and prevention efforts.
Initiatives NRG has been involved with so far include the development of a bicycle path to the station and being a major supporter of community events such as Clean-up Australia Day, EcoFest and the Gladstone Harbour Festival.
