Site Tours

The public is welcome to come and tour Queensland’s largest coal-fired power station. Locals, visitors, tourists and school excursions can enjoy the opportunity to see the station.

The bus tours are free and depart the Gladstone Information Centre (Ph 4972 4000) on Thursday morning at 10am and take about and 1.5hrs. Our retirees enjoy the opportunity to take people on a guided tour of the plant and recount the interesting history of the power station.

During the tour, you’ll see the boilers, generators and cooling water plant. We’ll also show you the latest technologies in place for managing our environmental performance.

Visitors must be over nine years of age and have enclosed sturdy footwear. We prefer a minimum of four people for the tour to proceed. Book your tour – we’d love to show you through!
