To us, a healthy work environment is one which does not degrade the health and lifestyle of our people. We have established programs to support and encourage a healthy work-life balance and, when necessary, provide rehabilitation assistance.

NRG established a Wellness Committee with employees from across the business meeting on a monthly basis to discuss new health and wellness initiatives.  Some of the initiatives that have come to fruition, include:

  • The 10,000 Steps Program that takes participants on a virtual walk;
  • A Bicycle and Breaky Morning to encourage employees to ride their bikes to work;
  • Nutritionists and lifestyle guest speakers.
